Job summary

Peak Period Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic, outgoing staff to join a world-famous Museum in South Kensington for a temporary Front of House Visitor Experience role. You must be available for assessment days on 12 Oct 2026 and paid induction training from 13–16 Oct, plus weekends during the holiday period.

The role is paid at £14.80 per hour and may involve outdoor duties and cloakroom support. Induction covers training across the museum site; protective clothing provided for all-weather

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required
• Excellent interpersonal skills and commercial awareness
• Front of House experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Actively seek out and assist visitors, providing excellent customer service to enhance the visitor journey
• Inspire visitors by sharing knowledge of the public programme, services and products
• Achieve individual and team performance objectives and conversion targets
• Promote and engage visitors in commercial opportunities
• Promote exhibitions/events and Gift Aid; assist with cloakroom, stock movement and barrier management; work outdoors in all weathers
