Job summary

National Army Museum in Chelsea, London is seeking a Front of House Assistant to join our Visitor Experience and Retail & Admissions teams. You will deliver a welcoming, informative and professional first impression, helping visitors navigate the galleries, engage with exhibitions and make the most of membership and events.

Based across the museum, you will handle welcome desk duties, assist with tickets and shop sales using EPOS, promote merchandise and programs, and maintain a clean,

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and ticketing transactions is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with visitors to provide a welcoming experience.
• Direct visitors, manage flow and wayfinding throughout the museum.
• Maintain shop displays and merchandise; promote sales.
• Process transactions using EPOS and ticketing system.
