Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Educator to contribute to the continued development of evidence-based nursing practice within the Musculoskeletal Care Group. The role provides educational support and acts as a resource for senior and junior staff and multidisciplinary team members, under a framework of clinical governance.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain clinical practice and skills to enhance the clinical competence of individuals and teams.
• Provide educational support and act as a resource for senior and junior staff and MDT members.
• Demonstrate commitment to nursing care philosophy through clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clinical practice and skills to enhance/ensure clinical competence of individuals and teams within the Musculoskeletal wards/departments.
• Assist in education and training within the Musculoskeletal Care Group and facilitate professional skills development.
• Provide support to a team of qualified staff, support staff and students in liaison with management.
• Support the clinical workload within the Musculoskeletal wards as required.
• Work with management to ensure high standards of nursing care delivered to diverse patients and relatives.
