Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Multiskilled Technician within the Estates & Facilities Division. You will perform a range of maintenance, repair and installation duties to keep hospital buildings and services safe and fully operational, reporting to the Assistant Maintenance Manager.

The role requires flexibility to cover multiple disciplines, with emphasis on safety, quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent structured training in engineering.
• Post-qualification experience in maintenance or engineering services.
• Strong technical background with practical problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out or oversee repair/maintenance installation of complex plant and equipment for Estates & Facilities Division.
• Maintain and ensure safety, compliance and operation of buildings and systems in healthcare settings.
