Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Estates team. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with shifts including weekends as required.

You will work with Team Leaders to plan maintenance, inspect, repair and install on Trust property, update CAFM records, and support compliant operation of buildings and services. Relevant electrical/mechanical qualifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Competent in using computers (MS Office) to interrogate the BMS.
• Experience in a maintenance environment.
• Understand operational procedures and safe working practices for plant and systems.
• Experience managing qualified labour and supervising others.
• Holding a current driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and complex maintenance on buildings, plant and services to support the estate maintenance.
• Plan with Team Leaders and supervise in-house and contract labour to ensure effective operations.
• Carry out inspections, tests, repairs and installations on Trust property and plant.
• Update the CAFM system in a timely and informative way and cover shift technician duties when needed.
