Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Multiskilled Technician for its Estates Maintenance team in Crewe. You will undertake a range of maintenance, repair and installation work across Trust properties, ensuring safety and operability of buildings and systems.

The role requires flexibility to cover multiple maintenance disciplines, with opportunities for career progression as the Trust grows and develops its new hospital facilities.

Qualifications

• Completed time-served apprenticeship or equivalent structured training programme in an engineering discipline.
• Relevant post-qualification experience in maintenance or engineering services.
• Strong technical background and practical problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a diverse range of maintenance, repair and installation work across Trust properties.
• Ensure buildings, engineering systems and services remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
• Work both independently and with colleagues and contractors to deliver high-quality maintenance services in a busy healthcare environment.
• Utilise skills across a range of maintenance disciplines where competent to do so.
• Support colleagues across Estates & Facilities Division to maintain a responsive and efficient service.
