Job summary

RG Setsquare is recruiting a Multi Skilled Operative to work across Knowsley and surrounding areas on social housing repairs contracts. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance to void and tenanted properties including kitchens, bathrooms and wetrooms.

The candidate should be trade-biased with experience in Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering and Ceramic tiling, plus capabilities across multiple trades. DBS check and a valid UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant trades qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent).
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean).
• Have experience in Social Housing Repairs.
• Have, or are willing to have a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen, bathroom & wetroom replacements.
• Joinery tasks incl. UPVC doors/windows, internal doors and frames.
• Plastering - patch repairs and full room plastering.
• Tiling - ceramic wall tiling and flooring.
• Painting and decorating.

RGSS's client, a leading maintenance provider, are looking for a reliable, \"multi-skilled operative\" to join their team across Knowsley and the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will be working on our Social Housing Repairs contracts in planned and reactive maintenance to void and tenanted properties across our main locations of work - Knowsley, Salford & Oldham.

Building Repairs and Maintenance Contractor looking for a trade biased Multi Skilled Operative that can competently carry out the full duties of one the following trades:

• Joiner


• Plumber


• Plasterer

And must also have skills & experience in multi trade duties of Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering and Ceramic wall tiling.

Duties of the successful Multi Skilled Operative will include:

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in as many of the below duty areas:

• Kitchen, bathroom & wetroom replacements


• Joinery - UPVC doors & windows, Internal doors & frames, Skirting & architrave etc


• Plastering - Patch Plastering, Damp repairs, full room plastering


• Tiling - Screed & vinyl tiles, Ceramic Wall Tiling


• Painting & Decorating

And must also have the below qualities:

• Hold a relevant trades qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent)


• Hold a full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)


• Have experience in Social Housing Repairs


• Have, or are willing to have a DBS check

In return, the successful Multi Skilled Operative will receive:

• A permanent position, with an annual salary of £34,000


• 20 Days holiday to pick of their own per year + 1 week shut down at Christmas + All Bank Holidays = 31 Days in total
