Job summary

Build Recruitment in Knowsley invites applications for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join a team on Social Housing Repairs contracts. It is a 12 week temporary to permanent role, mainly in Knowsley with occasional Salford work, focusing on planned and reactive maintenance in voids and tenanted properties.

The role requires experience in kitchen/bathroom/wet room replacements, joinery, plastering and tiling, NVQ2 or equivalent, and a full UK driving licence. Van and fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant trades qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent).
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean).
• Have experience in Social Housing Repairs.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen, bathroom & wet room replacements.
• Joinery - UPVC doors & windows, internal doors & frames, skirting & architrave.
• Plastering - patch plastering, damp repairs, full room plastering.
• Tiling - screed & vinyl tiles, ceramic wall tiling.

At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK.

Our client is looking for Multi Skilled Operatives to join their team on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis.The ideal candidate will be working on theirSocial Housing Repairs contracts and carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in both voids and tenanted properties. You will mainly working in the Knowsley contracts but will occasionally be working on the Salford contracts. They are looking for a Multi-Trade Operative candidates with experience working on wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in as many of the below duty areas:

• Kitchen, bathroom & wet room replacements
• Joinery - UPVC doors & windows, Internal doors & frames, Skirting & architrave etc
• Plastering - Patch Plastering, Damp repairs, full room plastering
• Tiling - Screed & vinyl tiles, Ceramic Wall Tiling
• Hold a relevant trades qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent)
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)
• Have experience in Social Housing Repairs

Pay rate - £21PH CIS (First 12 weeks) based on a 40 hour week.

Salary after 12 weeks - £34,000 per annum.
