Job summary

IBIS London City Shoreditch is seeking a Multiskilled Night Team Member to welcome guests, manage night audit tasks, and support 24/7 operations. You will handle reception duties, assist security, and provide food & beverage service during the night shift, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and accurate nightly reporting.

The role requires a flexible, customer-focused attitude with the ability to multitask between front desk and F&B activities, including beverages service and upselling,

Qualifications

• Self-starter with ability to work unsupervised.
• Multitask between reception and F&B.
• Flexible to work 5 days a week on rotation Monday to Sunday.
• Positive attitude, customer service focus and ability to process nightly audit.
• Fast-thinking, problem solver with initiative.
• Night Audit and/or Accounts experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the reception desk and processing of night audit and nightly reports.
• Assist security with monitoring building security.
• Aid in the operations for the day team to ensure exceptional service around the clock.
• Work the night shift from 11pm to 7:18am.
• Take food & beverage orders and deliver to guests during the shift.
• Perform F&B and Bar tasks and work in the reception as required.
• Learn & serve beverages from the F&B menu.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy per procedure.
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
• Own designated section and station.
• Complete other reasonable requests from Supervisor or Hotel Management.
• Take orders and maximize sales opportunities with upselling and accuracy.

As our next Multiskilled Night Team Member, you…

Are the ‘face of IBIS Shoreditch’, extending a warm welcome to our guests during the night, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay.

Contract - Full Time, Permanent , 39 hours / Week.

• Be responsible for the reception desk and processing of night audit and nightly reports.
• Assist security with monitoring building security.
• Aid in the operations for the day team to ensure exceptional service is provided around the clock
• Work the unique night shifts at our hotel from 11pm to 7:18am.
• Take food & beverage orders, prepare & deliver orders promptly to the guest from our food and drinks menu during the shift.
• Perform the F&B and Bar tasks primarily and work in the reception as and when required.
• Willing to learn & serve hot / cold beverage, cocktail, mocktail, beer etc. from the F&B menu.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedure manual.
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
• Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
• Any other reasonable request as required by your Supervisor or Hotel Management.
• Perform the tasks of order taking and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.

Qualifications

• A self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.

• Flexible to work 5 days a week on a rotation basis from Monday to Sunday.
• Someone with a positive attitude, a genuine customer service focus and the technical ability to process the nightly audit of all front office transactions
• A fast-thinking, customer focused problem solver with initiative that takes pride in creating and delivering memorable guest experiences whilst ensuring that all daily revenue has been captured and reported on.
• Night Audit and/or Accounts experience is highly regarded as this role will provide a great career path into other areas of operations or finance.
