Job summary

IBIS London City Shoreditch, part of AccorInvest UK, is seeking a Reception Team Leader to welcome guests and lead the front desk team. You’ll drive guest satisfaction with a warm, professional approach and ensure policies are followed for smooth daily operations.

Fluency in English is required; a high-energy, guest‑focused mindset will help you succeed in this hotel with 348 rooms, Restaurant & Bar, and extensive Accor benefits. This is a full-time on-site role in London.

• Service focused personality is essential.
• Previous leadership experience is an asset.
• Prior experience with FOLS/OPERA or similar ACCOR hospitality systems.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities; lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide support and leadership to Reception Team Members.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality, warm and friendly service.
• Ensure department policies are understood and observed; supervise day-to-day operation to meet service standards.
• Handle guest concerns quickly, routing issues to correct teams to ensure memorable moments.

Job Description

• Welcome the guests and provides support and leadership to all Reception Team Members.


• Contribute to guest’s satisfaction by providing high quality services with a warm and friendly approach.


• Ensure department policies and procedures are well understood by all employees and observed in tasks performed. Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service


• Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests


• Ensure employees are informed daily about priorities to personalize service

You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position and be in possession of a current work visa.
