Job summary

City College Peterborough is recruiting a Multi Skills Maths and English Tutor to join the Study Skills department. You will support learners with English and Maths, working with lecturers to raise attainment and promote inclusion.

Applicants should be qualified to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and ideally have SEN experience. The role is term-time plus two weeks, with 37 hours per week pro rata.

Qualifications

• Qualified to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience working with young people with SEN.

Responsibilities

• Tutor and support learners with English and Maths.
• Work with lecturers to raise learning and attainment and promote social inclusion, self-esteem and independence.
• Provide tutorial support and carry out associated administrative tasks (e.g., updating ProMonitor and EHCP outcomes).
• Deliver GCSE English if able and support across vocational areas.
