Job summary

Harbour Hotel Guildford is seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Team Member to join our busy maintenance department. You will handle a range of tasks from painting and decorating to electrical, joinery and plumbing, while keeping a keen eye for detail and staying organised.

You’ll work the Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts with a weekend roster rotation, liaising with trusted contractors and suppliers. This full-time role offers meals on duty, uniform provision, and a clear path for progression

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance skills across trades (painting, decorating, electrical, joinery, plumbing).
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Experience liaising with contractors and suppliers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks across hotel facilities.
• Liaise with outsourced contractors and suppliers.
• Work a full-time, shift-based schedule including Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation.
