Job summary

Harbour Hotels Guildford is seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Team Member to join our team. In this role you’ll perform a range of basic maintenance tasks across our hotel facilities, including painting, decorating, electrical, joinery and plumbing.

You’ll work with outsourced contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely responses to maintenance requests. The position is full-time with Monday to Friday shifts and a rotational Saturday on occasion, based in Guildford.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance skills including painting, decorating, electrical, joinery and plumbing.
• Desirable prior experience in a leisure environment, e.g. spas or pools.

• Carry out basic maintenance tasks across hotel facilities.
• Liaise with outsourced contractors and suppliers to coordinate work.
• Support 8-hour shift coverage Mon–Fri with rotational Saturday shifts.

Job description

The role… We are currently recruiting for an excellent Maintenance Team Member to join the team.

As part of the Maintenance team you will be confident in all basic maintenance skills including painting, decorating, electrical, joinery and plumbing. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be someone who is organised in their work and reacts quickly and effectively when required.

Working as part of a team, you will be required to liaise directly with outsourced contractors and suppliers. Previous experience of working within a leisure environment including working with spas and swimming pools would be desirable but not mandatory.

As part of our maintenance team you will be working to support covering the department over 8 hour shifts, your role will be based around a Monday to Friday shift based with the rotational Saturday between the team.

Full time position.
