Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with PLCs, control panels, drives and inverters.
• Hands-on, proactive maintenance engineering.
• Good problem-solving and high-pressure performance.
• Willingness to work 4-on 4-off rotating days/nights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Fault find on PLC-controlled equipment, inverters, drives and control panels.
• Support continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability.
• Complete maintenance documentation and engineering records.
• Follow health and safety procedures and engineering best practice.
• Contribute to overall performance and reliability of manufacturing operation.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining production performance, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across a busy manufacturing operation.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery and production equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Fault finding on PLC-controlled equipment, inverters, drives and control panels.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Completing maintenance documentation and ensuring accurate engineering records are maintained.
• Working in line with all health & safety procedures and engineering best practice.
• Contributing to the overall performance and reliability of the manufacturing operation.
