Yolk Recruitment Ltd, working with a leading manufacturer, is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Starting salary £42,000 with progression to £50,000 as milestones are achieved, in a well-invested production facility that rewards development.

You will maintain production performance, reduce downtime and support continuous improvement across a busy site, with a 4-on 4-off rotating days/nights pattern. Opportunities for career growth and modern equipment await.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with PLCs, control panels, drives and inverters.
• Hands-on, proactive maintenance engineering.
• Good problem-solving and high-pressure performance.
• Willingness to work 4-on 4-off rotating days/nights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Fault find on PLC-controlled equipment, inverters, drives and control panels.
• Support continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability.
• Complete maintenance documentation and engineering records.
• Follow health and safety procedures and engineering best practice.
• Contribute to overall performance and reliability of manufacturing operation.
