Job summary

Adept Resourcing is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to deliver electrical fault finding and mechanical maintenance across production lines. This role involves 4 on 4 off shifts, with days and nights in rotation (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am).

You will diagnose breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance, and work with PLC-controlled equipment, motors, drives and control panels. Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and Electrical installation and maintenance experience.
• Recognised Electrical / Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship / training scheme Level 3.
• Understand and be able to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Previous experience of maintenance and repair of PLC systems.
• Full Driving license required.
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors and control systems- could be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding on production machinery and control systems.
• Maintenance of electrical equipment including motors, drives, sensors and control panels.
• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance systems (mechanical and electrical).
• Diagnosing breakdowns and restoring equipment safely and efficiently.
• Working with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
• Supporting electrical upgrades and improvement projects.
• Maintenance of hydraulics, conveyors and pneumatics.
• Mechanical breakdowns.
