Job summary

McBride is seeking an ambitious and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join the Middleton production site on a day shift pattern, providing 24/7 reactive and proactive engineering support. You will ensure assets run at maximum speeds with minimal interruptions, applying root-cause analysis and continuous improvement methods.

You'll work within a cross-functional team, use CMMS to plan maintenance, and participate in safety walks and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience on high-volume production automation.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control systems.
• Time served apprenticeship or HNC/ONC in Electrical/Mechanical Eng.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance inspections and tasks to high standard.
• Perform reactive maintenance and fault finding to provide timely fixes.
• Use CMMS to plan work and record maintenance activities.
• Support safety audits and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with team and contractors to install new assets.
