Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in Dudley to maintain a range of production equipment in a heavy manufacturing setting. You will carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns and support PLC diagnostics.

The role requires Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and strong hands-on electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineering experience within heavy engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• PLC fault-finding experience.
• Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical fault-finding capability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance across a range of production equipment and site services within a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Complete planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults using schematics and technical drawings.
• Undertake mechanical fault finding and repairs using engineering documentation.
• Support PLC diagnostics and assist with installation, commissioning, and equipment modifications.

Shifts: Double days - 6am-2pm / 2pm-12am (Monday-Thursday)

A well-established UK-based heavy engineering manufacturer in Dudley is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join its expanding engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance across a range of production equipment and site services within a heavy manufacturing environment
• Complete planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults using schematics and technical drawings
• Undertake mechanical fault finding and repairs using engineering documentation
• Support PLC diagnostics and assist with installation, commissioning, and equipment modifications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
