Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in Bristol to join a leading manufacturing organisation. The role offers a base salary up to £54,700 with a KPI bonus of 5% and overtime opportunities, plus a pension matched up to 10% and share options.

You will work 4 on 4 off and 5 on 5 off days and nights, with two weekends off per month, and access training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrical & Mechanical Engineering qualification required.
• PPM and reactive maintenance experience essential.
• Health & safety awareness important.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs to keep factories running.
• Support process improvement across factories by proposing better solutions.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance, inspections, service and repairs on hydraulic systems, conveyors, motors, and PLCs.

Key Responsibilities of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer:

• To carry out essential planned Electrical and mechanical maintenance and complete necessary repairs to keep factories in good working order.
• Involvement in on-going process improvement throughout the factories, developing new ideas and better solutions.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs, hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, conveyor-based systems, motors, inverters, 3 phase electrics and PLC's

Qualifications & Experience:

• Applicants must hold a recognised Electrical & Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an Advanced Apprenticeship & or; Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above, City & Guilds in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering/Craft studies, 18th edition etc
• Demonstrable knowledge & expertise in PPM and reactive maintenance on Industrial Plant & Equipment.
• High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
• Experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment
