Job summary

Hunter Selection are partnering with a market-leading manufacturer to hire a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for their site in West Hallam, Derbyshire. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern (days & nights) with a salary of £52,000 plus benefits.

You will be the sole engineer on shift, carrying out fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems, performing planned and reactive maintenance, and driving plant reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Electrically qualified.
• Experience with 3-phase systems, motors and associated equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance across production and process machinery.
• Maximise plant reliability, efficiency, and production uptime.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective engineering solutions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
