Job summary

Hewett Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Droitwich, Worcestershire, to join a highly automated production facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern equipment, develop your technical skills and contribute to maintaining production performance.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and site equipment, and support continuous improvement projects to increase reliability, efficiency and uptime.

Qualifications

• Completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical competence.
• HNC/ONC or equivalent engineering qualification preferred.
• Experience with automated machinery and production equipment.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across production and site equipment.
• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns efficiently.
• Reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings.
• Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.

Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a secure role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We're recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated production facility in Droitwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern equipment, develop your technical skills and play a key role in maintaining production performance.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production and site equipment. You'll also support continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing reliability, efficiency and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
• Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns efficiently
• Reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings
• Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities

What We\'re Looking For

• Completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification

• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical competence
• HNC/ONC or equivalent engineering qualification preferred
• Experience working on automated machinery and production equipment
