Job summary

A modern engineering firm in Cannock is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to provide mechanical maintenance in a high-performance environment. This role offers a competitive salary of £52,500 with OTE exceeding £65k, benefits including a 20% pension, private healthcare, and extensive training programs. Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in engineering and experience in mechanical systems. The position offers excellent stability and a 4 on 4 off working pattern.

• Basic Salary: £52,500 + bonus + premium overtime (x1.5, x2), OTE in excess of £65k per annum

Role & Responsibilities as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

• Deliver plant‑wide proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure optimum factory performance
• Execute PPM schedules and respond effectively to breakdowns as part of the maintenance team
• Fault‑find and repair key mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and gearboxes, motors, inverters, PLCs, etc.
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to support world‑class manufacturing standards

What do you require to apply as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

• City & Guilds Level 3 / BTEC Level 3 (or higher) with NVQ Level 3 in engineering
• Apprenticeship trained in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical or related discipline such as HNC/HND with an NVQ Level 3
• Strong background in planned and reactive mechanical maintenance within manufacturing
