Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading manufacturer near Coalville. The role pays a base salary of £57,600 with KPI bonus and overtime paid at a premium, yielding an OTE of £65,000+.

The pattern is 5 on 5 off, 5 on 5 off, 4 on 4 off (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00) with two consecutive weekends off each month, and a strong focus on training and development including PLC training.

Qualifications

• HVAC and electro-mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• PPM and reactive maintenance planning and execution.
• Basic fault finding on PLCs and drive systems; Siemens S7/TIA portal training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to keep plant performance optimal.
• Perform PPM schedules and reactive maintenance as required.
• Work on mechanical and electrical elements (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, inverters, safety circuits). Surgical PLC fault finding will be trained.

Are you a Multiskilled Engineer looking to join a leading manufacturer that can offer training and further career development? My client is looking to extend their engineering division with Several Multiskilled Maintenance Engineers at their flagship site based near the area of Coalville.

The basic salary is 57.6K with a KPI bonus plus overtime is paid at a premium of x1.5, with current OT available, meaning OTE minimum earning of 65K+.

The shift pattern is 5 on 5 off, 5 on 5 off, 4 on 4 off (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00). This offers a fantastic work life balance, and guarantees 2 consecutive weekends off every month.

Roles and Responsibilities of an Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

• Responsible for plant wide proactive and reactive Maintenance activities to ensure the optimum performance of the factory.
• Carry out PPM schedules and Reactive Maintenance Activities as required.
• Carry out work upon all Mechanical and Electrical elements such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors, Motors, Invertors, Safety Circuits, and performing basic fault finding on PLC's etc. Extensive training will also be provided on Siemens PLC S7 TIA portal systems along with further upskilling opportunities.

To Be Successful as an Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

• You must hold the following Electro-Mechanical Mechatronics, Mechanical and Electrical Vocational and Technical qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3 AND BTEC Level 3 or higher with NVQ Level 3, OR be Apprentice trained to level 3.
• Strong planned and reactive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment as an Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
