Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for a modern, high-performance manufacturing site near Walbottle, Newcastle.

You will lead proactive and reactive maintenance to keep the plant running at peak performance, with training and development opportunities and a focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 / BTEC Level 3 with NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical) is required.
• Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or equivalent multi-skilled experience, is preferred.
• Strong background in planned and reactive electrical maintenance within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plant-wide proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure optimum factory performance.
• Execute PPM schedules and respond effectively to breakdowns as part of the maintenance team.
• Fault-find and repair key electrical systems including PLCs, motors, drives, and control panels.
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to support world-class manufacturing standards.
