Job summary

First Choice Homes Oldham is seeking a Multiskilled Joiner to join the Property Care Team in the Tenanted department. The role involves full-time, 37 hours per week, delivering high-quality repairs across FCHO properties and related contracts.

You will diagnose issues, manage materials, and complete work within scheduled appointments, while upholding safety, quality, and excellent customer service in tenants’ homes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a joinery qualification (NVQ Level 2 minimum) with experience delivering repairs in occupied and void properties.
• Demonstrates strong health and safety knowledge and follows safe systems of work.
• Provides excellent customer service while working respectfully in tenants’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality joinery and multi-skilled repairs across FCHO properties and contracts with first-time fix aim.
• Communicate clearly with tenants and colleagues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Promote safe working practices and follow health and safety legislation and procedures.
• Diagnose repair issues, source materials, and complete work within appointment slots.
