Job summary

Target Housing Ltd in Grimsby is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative - Joiner to join our Maintenance team on a full-time basis. The role covers planned and reactive repairs across our properties, with duties ranging from joinery to basic plumbing and site improvements.

The successful candidate will work 39 hours per week, typically on-site, with driving provision essential. DBS clearance and a valid driving licence are required, and you will liaise with external contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates practical joinery skills and ability to use hand tools.
• Good health & safety awareness in a maintenance environment.
• Reliable team member with ability to work independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on task lists
• Maintenance and repair work for buildings and facilities
• Completing joinery tasks (studwork, roofing joinery, doors, skirting boards, architraves) and installing kitchens
• Basic plumbing tasks
• Assist and liaise with external contractors
• Undertake emergency jobs responding to weather impact
• Alter or create workspaces as required to meet business needs
• Ensure buildings/offices comply with current legislation
• Attend meetings, supervisions and training
• Understand and comply with Health & Safety regulations
• Other duties as required to meet organisational needs
