Job summary

EQUANS are recruiting a Multiskilled Engineer to be based in Belfast. This permanent full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive salary, van and fuel card, and a benefits package.

The successful candidate will support and carry out heating system installations across domestic and light commercial properties, performing multi-trade tasks to ensure high standards and regulatory compliance. You will work as part of a team alongside heating engineers and other trades, carrying out

Qualifications

• Relevant building services trade.
• Proven experience in heating installations.
• Understanding of system layouts, pipework routing, and building fabric.
• Ability to complete a range of related multi-trade tasks.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS card or equivalent health & safety training (Desirable).
• Asbestos awareness certification (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support full system upgrades, conversions, and first/second fix heating installations.
• Carry out multi-trade tasks such as making good walls/floors and basic joinery.
• Complete ground works, oil tank bases, and making good.
• Site preparation and post-installation finishing.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and building regulations.
• Collaborate with heating engineers, electricians, and other trades on-site.
• Complete paperwork and report issues to the supervisor.
• Deliver high-standard customer service and maintain a tidy site.
