Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Mobile Mechanical/Heating Engineer to service and install heating systems across South Wales and the South West on a permanent basis. This full-time role is 40 hours per week and includes a company vehicle and benefits package.

The candidate will carry out installation, maintenance, and certification, with a DBS check and Gas Safe qualifications preferred. A full driving licence is essential for site-to-site work.

Qualifications

• Industry plumbing/mechanical qualification required.
• Gas Safe qualification desirable.
• C&G Level 2 Plumbing or Gas required; Level 3 preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heating/hot water systems and plumbing.
• Carry out installation work and complete appropriate certification.
• Work across South Wales, South West and on-call rota as required.
• Ensure paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdowns is completed promptly.
• Record plant failures in CAFM system and assist line manager.
