Job summary

Jackie Kerr Recruitment seeks an ambitious Facilities & Maintenance Assistant for our client in Andover. You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, general site repairs, and ensure safety standards on two factory sites.

The role requires knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electro-mechanical systems, plus a clean driving licence for site travel. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Clean driving licence; travel between two factory sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general site/factory repairs and maintenance to uphold the working area.
• Perform maintenance on machinery and electro-mechanical systems.
• develop knowledge across equipment, from boilers to hydraulic presses.
• Take ownership of problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Prioritise workload in line with operational needs.
• Maintain high Health & Safety standards and keep areas clean.
• Follow quality and administrative procedures with attention to detail.
• Visit both factory sites as required.
