Job summary

BJF Group requires an experienced MultiSkilled Engineer to join the Project Services Small Works Team, delivering trade-related solutions across multiple prison estates in the UK. The role covers reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and ensuring sites look and operate to the required standards.

You will work on site, maintaining safety and quality while coordinating with colleagues to meet client obligations and project timelines.

Qualifications

ECS or CSCS card is required.
City & Guilds or other accredited qualification in a relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

Respond to reactive calls, carrying out first fix where possible and scoping quotes for repair where first fix is not possible to ensure minimum downtime across sites.
Carry out all planned building/fabrication maintenance tasks as per program, keeping accurate auditable records of works planned and completed.
Ensuring the site is kept in good decorative order internally and externally, inline with given specification.
Establishing strong working relationships to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and projects.
To always work in a safe manner and to a high standard, in line with best working practices.
