Job summary

ISS Facilities Services is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric, plumbing, mechanical systems and limited electrical tasks within documented competence.

The role supports safe, efficient operation of commercial buildings, requiring practical, customer-focused hands-on work with attention to safety procedures and collaboration with qualified specialists when needed.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in a relevant trade, building maintenance, plumbing, mechanical services or similar discipline; or demonstrable time-served multi-trade maintenance experience.
• PASMA or IPAF certification where relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric, plumbing, mechanical systems and authorised electrical tasks.
• Diagnose faults, complete minor repairs and safely reinstate equipment.
• Escalate specialist, statutory or qualified trade work as required.
• Complete routine PPMs, inspections, adjustments and meter readings.
• Undertake general fabric repairs and minor plumbing maintenance.
• Support water hygiene activities, including temperature checks and outlet flushing.
• Perform authorised fire alarm and emergency lighting routine tests.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress, risks and service impacts.
