Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a growing facilities management team covering sites around Bristol. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance to keep sites safe, compliant, and operational, with a company van for site travel and personal use.

Key duties include tests on emergency lighting, fire alarm checks, basic electrical and plumbing works, and routine PPMs. The role requires independent work, good communication, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Facilities Engineer
• Good all-round maintenance skills across fabric, plumbing and basic electrical works
• Comfortable carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
• Emergency light testing and minor electrical works
• Fire alarm checks and basic fault finding
• Tap temperature checks and water hygiene monitoring
• General fabric maintenance and repairs
• Basic plumbing and handyman duties
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently
• Completing PPMs and maintenance records accurately
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with Health & Safety and compliance requirements
