Job summary

Winner Recruitment in Bristol is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy facilities management team across Bristol and surrounding areas. You will handle planned and reactive maintenance to keep sites safe, compliant, and fully operational.

The role covers electrical, plumbing and fabric maintenance with the use of a company van for site travel. A full UK driving licence is required and ongoing training is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a multi-skilled engineer or maintenance engineer in facilities management.
• Competence in fabric maintenance, plumbing and basic electrical works.
• Capable of planned and reactive maintenance and working independently.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
• Emergency light testing and minor electrical works
• Fire alarm checks and basic fault finding
• Tap temperature checks and water hygiene monitoring
• General fabric maintenance and repairs
• Basic plumbing and handyman duties
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently
• Completing PPMs and maintenance records accurately
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with Health & Safety and compliance requirements

Multi-Skilled Engineer - Bristol

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + Van (Personal Use Available)
Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a growing facilities management team, covering sites across Bristol and the surrounding areas.

The role will involve carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring sites remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
• Emergency light testing and minor electrical works
• Fire alarm checks and basic fault finding
• Tap temperature checks and water hygiene monitoring
• General fabric maintenance and repairs
• Basic plumbing and handyman duties
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently
• Completing PPMs and maintenance records accurately

About You:

• Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Facilities Engineer
• Good all-round maintenance skills across fabric, plumbing and basic electrical works
• Comfortable carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK Driving Licence
