Job summary

Tech-People is seeking a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer for a static site in Daventry. Start date 01/09/2026 with a 10/26/2026 duration, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Pay options: £27.57 per hour Umbrella PAYE or £21.17 per hour PAYE. Duties include PPM, fault finding, emergency lighting checks and site safety compliance.

Applicants should hold 17th Edition and have solid building services experience with ability to work independently on a single site and commute reliably to Daventry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 17th Edition electrical qualification - essential.
• Experience as a multi-skilled or electrical-biased building services engineer.
• Good experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Electrical maintenance experience is essential, with some mechanical/building services knowledge.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently on a static site.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Daventry.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Electrical fault finding, repairs and general electrical maintenance.
• Emergency lighting checks and testing.
• Temperature checks and lamping.
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance to electrical systems and installations.
• Basic mechanical/building services maintenance where required.
• PPMs on AHUs, FCUs and other building services equipment.
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Working safely and in accordance with site procedures and relevant regulations.
