Job summary

Build Recruitment are seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical bias) to join a North East site. The role covers maintenance, repair and installation across electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems within a building services environment.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical systems, BMS and SFG20 standards, with excellent communication and a customer‑focused approach to service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years with commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly.
• Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Experience with building services and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of services within contract specification.
• Carry out repairs, maintenance and installation tasks.
• Record test results and actions for continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with client, subcontractors and site teams.
