Job summary

A leading education provider is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and refurbish facilities across their UK sites. This role involves preventive and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and requires a proactive approach to work. Candidates should have qualifications in Electrical Installations, previous building maintenance experience, and a full clean driving license. Qualifications

• Certification in 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is required.
• City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent NVQ, or demonstrable experience to the same standard is necessary.
• Previous experience in building maintenance, including M&E systems, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across the UK estates portfolio.
• Monitor the condition of buildings, undertake repairs and renovations.
• Assist in the planning of refurbishment projects.

Skills

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations

Previous experience in building maintenance

Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques

Interpersonal skill and ability to work independently

Familiarity with COSHH requirements

Full, Clean Driving License
