Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Manager to shape culture, influence leaders on engagement and partner on all HR topics.

You will lead HR across Sainsbury’s Transport in Stoke-on-Trent and the Sainsburys Argos site in Barton, offering expert guidance on employee relations and organisational change. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will manage one direct report, work core hours Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00, and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent) with strong employment law knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases.
• Data-driven and commercially minded with use of people metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a high-quality HR service across both sites, providing strategic and operational support to drive performance.
• Coach and support managers on ER matters, investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with operational leaders and Trade Union representatives.
• Drive engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives, talent development and engagement survey actions.
• Lead change and continuous improvement, TUPE transfers, HR reporting and develop the team.
