Job summary

Röhlig Logistics in Solihull (Birmingham) is seeking an experienced Multimodal Export Operations Clerk to join a busy team with expertise in ocean and air export.

You will manage end-to-end export processes, handle customs entries, and deliver excellent service to stakeholders while contributing to grow the client base. Hybrid work after training, great benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in start-to-finish ocean and air export freight forwarding
• Experience handling ocean and air export procedures
• Strong IT proficiency, CargoWise1 certified preferred
• Excellent communication and complaint resolution skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver high quality, on-time work

For our branch in Solihull (Birmingham), we are currently looking for an experienced and highly competent Multimodal Export Operations Clerk to join this busy and successful team, with expert knowledge in ocean and air export procedures and a solid freight forwarding work history.

What you will do:

• Effectively manage all procedures involved with ocean and air export
• Customs entries – extensive experience and knowledge required
• Deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders
• Generate leads and grow the existing client base

What you will bring:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a start-to-finish ocean and air export freight forwarding role
• IT proficiecy, ideally CargoWise1 Certified Operator/Specialist
• Educated to a minimum GCSE standard including maths and English
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of air and ocean export procedures
• Excellent communication and complaint resolution skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality, on‑time work
• Great work ethic, conscientious, punctual, able to follow direction from business leaders
