Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a Technical Support Specialist in London to deliver platinum technical service to clients, resolving connectivity issues and coordinating with partners to ensure robust access to Bloomberg infrastructure.

You will handle multi-device environments, support both software and hardware offerings, and troubleshoot in virtualized settings while maintaining high-quality service for key accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of router commands and network protocols (SFTP, TCP, UDP, BGP, RIP).
• Fluent in French, Spanish or Portuguese.
• Experience coordinating with internal/external partners to deliver service.
• Strong troubleshooting across multiple platforms and products.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Bloomberg clients with emphasis on connectivity and infrastructure.
• Support Bloomberg software, network and hardware offerings while coordinating with clients and partners.
• Fix, supervise, and maintain Bloomberg’s private IP network including connectivity and infrastructure.
• Integrate Bloomberg products into client environments and troubleshoot application issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware on virtual environments (VMware, Citrix, etc.).
• Demonstrate stakeholder management with telco vendors to report service impacts.
