Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Project Engineer for HS2's Depots Engineering team in London. You will support delivery from design through construction, testing and commissioning, gaining broad exposure across civil, mechanical, electrical, and railway systems.

The role offers cradle-to-grave exposure with a developing pathway toward chartership, reporting to the Lead Project Engineer and coordinating with design and site teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' engineering experience or more.
• Background in civil, mechanical, electrical, buildings or railway engineering.
• Experience on multidisciplinary engineering, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Willingness to broaden technical experience and develop as a Project Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contact between HS2 and design/construction teams.
• Work with the Lead Project Engineer on delivery across design, construction and commissioning.
• Provide technical review and coordination across disciplines to support depot delivery.
