Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Project Engineer for HS2’s Depots Engineering team in London. The role supports the Calvert Infrastructure Maintenance Depot, a roughly £200m project, with a cradle-to-grave engineering exposure across civil, mechanical, electrical, and railway domains.

You will work with the Lead Project Engineer, coordinating design and site delivery, embracing a broad technical background to progress from design toward construction, testing and handover.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years’ relevant engineering experience.
• Background across civil, mechanical, electrical, buildings or railway engineering.
• Experience on multidisciplinary engineering, construction or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand technical information beyond administration of docs.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors and site delivery teams.
• Act as a point of contact between HS2 and design/construction teams.
