Job summary

High Speed Two Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer for the Calvert Infrastructure Maintenance Depot in London. This hybrid role involves coordinating engineering activities across the depot under the guidance of a Lead Project Engineer, reviewing contractor designs and technical submissions, and ensuring technical assurance throughout design, construction, testing and handover.

You will develop breadth across civils, track, signalling, MEP and other railway systems, gaining hands-on experience on

Qualifications

• 3+ years rail engineering experience across multiple disciplines.
• Experience reviewing designs, submissions and queries.
• Ability to coordinate across depot interfaces and with contractors.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Experience in technical assurance and RFIs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activity across the depot with Lead Project Engineer.
• Review contractor designs and technical submissions.
• Provide technical assurance and support stage gate requirements.
• Coordinate with HS2 Subject Matter Experts to resolve interfaces and problems.
• Assist in testing, commissioning and handover activities.
