Fortus Recruitment Group Limited specialise in recruitment within the repairs and maintenance sector. We are currently working with an established housing provider seeking a highly skilled Multi Trader to join their property maintenance team.

The role covers void refurbishments and responsive repairs across occupied and void properties, with a strong emphasis on high-quality workmanship. You will carry out carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating, manage void refurbishments

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in multi-trade property maintenance, ideally within social housing or a similar residential environment.
• A high level of competence in at least two core trades, with three or more strongly preferred.
• A broad practical skillset across trades such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling.
• The ability to complete full void property refurbishments independently, with minimal supervision.
• A recognised qualification in at least one relevant trade.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• A professional and customer-focused approach when working in occupied homes.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• The ability to meet the employer's pre-employment screening requirements.

Responsibilities

Working hours and benefits:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
