Howells Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join a reactive maintenance team working across Brent. You will perform a range of repairs in occupied social housing, using carpentry, plumbing, plastering and decorating skills to complete high-quality work.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trader or similar in reactive maintenance.

Mansioni

• Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied residential properties.

Job Title: Multi-Trader

Location: Brent, North West London

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join a well-established reactive maintenance team, carrying out a variety of repairs and maintenance works within occupied social housing properties across Brent.

The successful candidate will have experience across multiple trades, with the ability to complete a range of responsive repairs and general maintenance works to residential properties.

This role would suit a reliable, hands-on operative who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, completing jobs efficiently and providing excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out a variety of reactive repairs and maintenance works within occupied residential properties.
• Completing general carpentry repairs, including doors, door frames, skirting boards and architraves.
• Undertaking basic plumbing repairs, including replacing taps, fixing leaks and carrying out minor pipework repairs.
• Completing patch plastering, filling, making-good and general decorating works.
• Carrying out repairs to kitchen units, cupboards, worktops and other fixtures.
• Completing general building repairs and minor masonry works where required.
• Diagnosing faults and identifying the appropriate repairs needed.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
• Delivering excellent customer service when working in residents' homes.
• Managing your own workload and completing jobs within agreed timescales.
• Taking ownership of jobs from first visit through to completion.

Experience & Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trader, Multi-Skilled Operative or similar.
• Experience carrying out a variety of repairs across multiple trades.
• A good level of carpentry, plumbing, plastering and decorating skills.
• Experience within reactive maintenance, property maintenance or social housing.
• Experience working within occupied residential properties.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
• A full UK manual driving licence, if required for the role.
