Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking two experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives for a busy reactive maintenance contract across Reading, Basingstoke and Thatcham.

You will perform reactive maintenance, carpentry, flooring, and basic plumbing across occupied social housing, ensuring high workmanship and courteous tenant interactions. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates, with own tools and transport preferred.

• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.

• CSCS card preferred.

Multi-Skilled Operatives - Reactive Social Housing Repairs (Reading / Basingstoke / Thatcham)

Our client is currently looking for 2 experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to join a busy reactive maintenance contract covering social housing properties across Reading, Basingstoke, and Thatcham.

This is ongoing work with a well established contractor working on the Home Group contract.

Key duties:

• Reactive maintenance and day-to-day repairs
• Door adjustments and general carpentry works
• Flooring repairs and renewals
• Basic plumbing, patch repairs, and general maintenance
• Working across occupied social housing properties
• Completing jobs to a high standard while providing excellent tenant care

Requirements:
