Job summary

Bimplus is seeking experienced Multi-Traders to join the repairs and maintenance team covering Oldbury and the wider Birmingham area. Day-to-day responsive repairs in occupied and void properties, delivering carpentry, plumbing and plastering to a high standard.

Applicants should have strong trades experience, social housing exposure, and a full UK driving licence. The role includes on-call duties with a salary around £34,000, plus benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Carpentry and plumbing experience with capability in plastering and general maintenance.
• Experience in social housing, responsive repairs, or domestic maintenance.
• Ability to work across multiple trades and deliver a high standard of finish.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

Our large social housing client is looking for experienced Multi‑Traders to join their repairs and maintenance team covering Oldbury and the wider Birmingham area. You’ll be carrying out day‑to‑day responsive repairs in occupied and void properties, delivering high‑quality workmanship with a strong focus on carpentry and plumbing, supported by solid plastering skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs, maintenance and minor works across occupied and void social housing properties.
• Deliver high‑quality carpentry, plumbing, and plastering tasks to a professional standard.
• Diagnose issues, complete works efficiently, and ensure properties are left clean and safe.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong background in carpentry and plumbing (bias towards these trades).
• Experience working within social housing, responsive repairs, or domestic maintenance.

• Full UK driving licence.
