Multi Trade Operative for Reactive Maintenance Work in Westminster

Up to £45,000 per year

We are looking for a Multi Trader Operative that has experience within the social housing sector to join a busy repairs and maintenance contracts.

Responsibilities:

1. Carpentry or plumbing background essential.
2. Fencing/replacement of rainwater goods/overclad.
3. Experience in window care/repair, brickwork, pointing, rendering, plastering, paving desirable.

About You:

1. Candidates will hold a relevant City and Guilds or NVQ level 2 qualification in a core trade with additional secondary trade skills.
2. Excellent working H & S knowledge.
3. Customer focused with experience of working in occupied properties.
4. Passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.
5. Ideally holding a Blue CSCS card.
6. Expertise in multiple trades such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
7. A hardworking, reliable work ethic; flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements.
8. Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.
9. Full UK Driver’s License.
10. Previous use of handheld technology/smartphone.
11. Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard.
12. A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service.
13. Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry.
14. City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent.
