Job summary

WPS in Crawley is recruiting a skilled Multi-Trader to refurbish void social housing properties prior to new tenants moving in. You'll perform carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and other trades, ensuring safety and high quality.

Join a team focused on safe, reliable repairs, recording work details accurately, and following DBS and safeguarding checks at offer stage. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade required.
• Experience in social housing repairs, maintenance, or voids preferred.
• Strong multi-trade skills and a quality-focused approach.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Completing repairs and refurbishment works in void social housing properties.

Multi-Trader – Voids | Crawley

At WPS, we're committed to creating safe, well-maintained homes and communities across the UK. As part of our Property Services division, we maintain over 500,000 social housing properties, helping residents live in secure and comfortable homes.

We're looking for an experienced Multi-Trader to join our Crawley Responsive Business Unit, carrying out repairs and refurbishment works to void properties prior to new tenants moving in.

What You'll Be Doing

• Completing repairs and refurbishment works in void social housing properties
• Carrying out multi-trade tasks including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and plastering
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
