Job summary

WPS is recruiting a Carpenter Multi Trader to work from the Walton-on-Thames office on a busy social housing voids contract. You will perform repair, renewal and reinstatement tasks and help bring empty homes back to a high standard for new residents.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or similar trade qualification.
• Proven experience in carpentry and multi‑trade work, preferably within voids or social housing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair, renewal, and reinstatement works within void properties.
• Complete a variety of carpentry and multi-trade tasks to prepare homes for re-let.
• Advise your Supervisor when additional trades are required.
• Work independently or alongside other operatives to complete void refurbishments.
• Complete daily work sheets detailing tasks completed and materials used.
• Ensure all works are finished productively, safely, and to a high standard.

WPS has an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter Multi Trader to join our Responsive Maintenance division, working specifically on VOID properties as part of a busy social housing contract. Based from our Walton-on-Thames office, you'll help bring empty homes back to a high standard for new residents.

What You’ll Be Doing
