Graham Rose is recruiting Multi Trade Operatives to refurbish void social housing properties in Horsham. The role involves kitchens and bathrooms, carpentry, plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating to a high standard within agreed programmes.

You will work across a portfolio of residential properties, helping reduce void turnaround times and deliver quality homes for tenants. Permanent, full-time positions with long-term stability.

Qualifications

Multi Trade - Void Properties

Location: Horsham

Salary: £37,800

Permanent position - *Multiple positions are available

An established social housing contractor is looking to recruit experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join its Voids property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with a background in social housing maintenance to help refurbish void properties, ensuring homes are brought back to a high standard and ready for new tenants as quickly as possible.

Working across a portfolio of residential properties, the successful candidate will carry out a variety of planned refurbishment works, playing an important role in reducing void turnaround times and delivering quality homes for local communities.

The Role

• * Refurbishment of empty social housing properties.
• * Kitchen and bathroom installations, including all associated works.
• * Carpentry repairs and maintenance.
• * Domestic plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.
• * Completing works to a high standard within agreed programmes.
• * Recording completed works using handheld devices.
• * Working safely and professionally while delivering excellent workmanship.

Requirements

• * Previous experience working within social housing, planned maintenance or void property refurbishment.
• * Strong experience installing kitchens and bathrooms.
• * Good all-round carpentry skills.
• * Competence in plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.
• * The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• * Experience using handheld IT systems to record work.
• * A good understanding of health and safety within occupied and void residential properties.
• * A full UK driving licence.
